If you’re installing an app on Mac OS that is not from App Store, you may likely to receive this error:

<APP-NAME> can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

To fix this issue, try these steps:

  1. Click on Apple logo in Menu bar.
  2. Then click on System Preferences.
  3. Moving on, then select Security & Privacy.
  4. Switch to General tab then, and click Open anyway.

You should be now able to open the software, with which you were getting error.
